All ages are welcome in the Den!

Parents remain with us as each week our facilitator creates opportunities to explore , hike, create, connect, and play.

Our beautiful Gore rd Harrow Forest is home to bald eagles, countless song birds, owls, hawks, raccoons, toads, frogs, and more. The rich and diverse Carolinian forest is bursting with trilliums in the spring, Jack in the Pulpit, shagbark hickory, sumac, sycamore, and more. From lichen to trees there is always something new to discover!

Visit our new Cottam location and explore the shady,  peaceful Cedar Den. Discover animal tracks in the Old Growth forest. Follow the path through  Strawberry field for playtime in the Grove. Poplar pond hosts many fish, frogs, and their resident great blue heron. Can you find our favourite trail, Coyote Ridge? Hint: There is a secret entrance just past the Sumac and olive tree!

In order to create an inclusive program and remain accessible to everyone, our drop-in runs off donations or a pay-what-you-can model.

We suggest a donation of $5 per person or $20 per family of up to five members, paid by cash onsite or by e-transfer.  We welcome donations!  Sponsor a person or sponsor a family!

Pre-registration is not required for this program.
